The CACS/AIC Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a two-day meeting, though efforts are made to finish in the early afternoon of the second day so that people can get to the airport and fly home for the weekend. The latest draft agenda is included here as you are making your travel plans.
If you are planning to attend the CACS/AIC meeting, please send an email to Erin Moloney (administrative assistant to the Head in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary) by May 1, 2015. For the selected few who are on the CACS/AIC Executive, there is an Executive Committee meeting taking place on the evening of Wednesday, May 20. Please plan your arrival time accordingly!
The CACS/AIC Awards Banquet will be co-located with the meeting. This year's banquet will honour not only 3 rising CS research stars in the country, but also 6 of the early CS pioneers in Canada. The banquet will take place on the evening of Thursday, May 21 in the Brentwood Room. Cocktails are available at 6:00pm, with dinner at 7:00pm, and awards to follow.
All events will take place at the Best Western Village Park Inn near the University of Calgary campus. You are responsible for making your own hotel reservations. Additional information is available on the hotel information page.
