Welcome
Welcome to my CPSC 441 Web site! The purpose of this course is to introduce the key concepts and principles of computer networks. Throughout the course, we will use the Internet, as well as its architecture and TCP/IP protocols, to illustrate the fundamental principles of computer networking.
Here is the CPSC 441 course information sheet, along with a statement of the course learning outcomes. The official CPSC 441 calendar entry is also available online. Please ensure that you have the correct pre-requisites to take this course. Students without the proper pre-requisites cannot obtain credit for CPSC 441, even if they complete it successfully.
CPSC 441 L01 lectures take place on MWF at 10:00am in EEEL 161.

- December 16, 2021: The in-person two-hour final exam for CPSC 441 L01 is at 12 noon on Thursday December 16 in EEEL 161.
- December 13, 2021: My bonus office hours this week are Monday 1:00-3:00pm and Wednesday 1:00-3:00pm in ICT 736.
- December 8, 2021: Last day of class! Also a reminder about the in-person final exam at 12 noon on December 16 in EEEL 161.
- November 22, 2021: This is a reminder that Assignment 4 is due on Friday, December 3 (11:59pm).
- November 15, 2021: The final exam for CPSC 441 L01 will take place at 12 noon on Thursday, December 16 in EEEL 161.
- November 2, 2021: This is a reminder that Assignment 3 is due on Friday, November 19 (11:59pm).
- October 25, 2021: The midterm exam for CPSC 441 L01 will take place in-class on Wednesday October 27 at 10:00am. Don't forget!
- October 8, 2021: This is a reminder that Assignment 2 is due on Friday, October 22 (11:59pm).

- September 23, 2021: UCIT is upgrading the Linux compute servers (csx and csx3) to Fedora 34 on Thursday, so these servers might be unavailable most of the day. The ARM servers (csa1, csa2, and csa3) will be unaffected by these changes.
