Textbook

The textbook for CPSC 531 is Discrete-Event Simulation: A First Course by Lawrence Leemis and Stephen Park (Pearson Prentice Hall, 2006). Lecture material will be drawn primarily from this required textbook, as well as from supplementary sources.

Copies of this book are available in the University of Calgary Bookstore for approximately $200. This is a reasonably good book, so I encourage you to obtain a copy if you can afford to do so. We will be covering quite a bit of material from this book.
