Soigan - a Multicast XML monitoring system

Placeholder for the Soigan project, a Multicast XML implementation of a Nagios-like system monitor. Soigan is, of course, Nagios backwards. I started using this name in this regard as of May 12, 2004, in case someone else decides to claim or contest it.

June 3, 2004: I just found out what Nagios stands for (Nagios Ain't Gonna Insist On Sainthood - based on the old name of NetSaint), so I thought maybe I should come up with an alternate meaning for Soigan:

Sainthood Overlooked In General, As-per Nagios?
System Overseer ...?

June 17, 2005: A whole year has gone by... Soigan stalled last August, because I decided that SOAP was the way to go, and XML-RPC was a bit player in the world.
So what does this mean? Yep! Time to redesign!
