Here are few more miscellaneous screenshots that I found on an old harddrive...
Here we see that Trinsic is still in the hands of the undead, and still making a mess of things.
With the city conquered, the undead horde left evil standards and dire warnings to any that dared approach Trinsic.
I have no idea whose place this was, but I was a tad impressed with the number of reagents the owner had! I think it might have been a shop, actually.
Fishing is the life for me. Ultima Online sure makes it a profitable career, as well! Here we see Rotten Spider helping out Michelle (my fencer and seamstress) with fishing up treasure from SOSes found in bottles. You can see the many bones and numerous chests of treasure they had found -- they seem to have been at it for a while! Rotten was needed as backup because there are usually sea serpents that arise when fishing so deep. This picture was titled "Candles", because the boat was well-lit up for it being nighttime in Britannia.
Here we see Worker with a bag of 56 bottles, all containing SOSes. I'm not actually sure why he had them, for he never had any skill at fishing, and you needed some to fish deep enough to find the treasure.
Hmn. Half an hour later and Worker has opened all of the bottles. I'm sure he didn't have the skill required to fish them up! The picture is just over five years old, as I write this, so I'm not surprised that it confuses me!
Okay, now it makes a little more sense. There on the boat is Ghoti, Britannia's best fly fisherman three years running. It's quite likely that Ghoti was waiting for Worker to get to the right point in the ocean before joining him. (In reality, they're both me, running on two computers.) Worker would be there for Ghoti's protection, as Ghoti had no skill in fighting whatsoever.
What didn't make sense (and the reason for the picture), is the text above the sea serpent! The programmer in me thinks it's a debugging message that got left in accidentally.
An interesting picture, this. Worker's in full plate (not typical), he has a bow (definitely not typical), and he has a boat full of ore. While mining from a boat is possible, I only ever remember trying it once. Could this be that time? The map on the bottom does show mountainous shore nearby, so perhaps! But why would Ghoti be with him?
Okay, I might have gotten a little crazy here. This may very well be the same evening as the pictures above where Worker and Michelle were fishing treasure up. You can see that they got quite busy making a mess out of the bank in Serpent's Hold. Note the tops of the walls, where dozens of shells were laid out. In the picture we see Michelle, Rotten (to the right), Alessandra (with the red hair), and I can't remember who's in the helmet, beside Michelle. Could that be Crondor??
Now Worker has shown up to admire (and add to) the mess.
