As the title states, there will be a LAN party.

The location will be in room ICT122.
It will be held (officially ;)) from 5:30 to 9:30.

Please bring your own computer if you wish to join in the lan. However, there will still be pizza and pop served for those who just wish to socialize.

The membership cards have finally arrived and are available for pick up in the office.

The Third Annual
* Calgary Collegiate Programming Contest (CCPC) *

will be held *this Thursday*, September 18th.

The CCPC is held to expose students to the world of competitive
programming. We encourage all students studying a computer-related field
to compete!
Teams of 1, 2, or 3 will compete to solve a variety of programming
challenges, in the format of the ACM-ICPC.

If you're in CPSC 331 you'll be interested to hear that we have a review session set up to cover all the details of what will be on your final exam. Your TA Karel Bergmann has kindly offered his time to cover questions from previous exams and focus on topics that your professor considers important for the test. This review will be on December 10 from 10am to around noon, depending on how much time is needed to cover all the material. It will be in MS 319, and a CSUS membership is required, which can be purchased for $5 at the session. Good luck on all your exams!!!
