Directions in Computer Science Recap

Posted: February 6th, 2012

First of all, thank you to everyone who came out to this research talk. All the hard work has meaning to it when we see people enjoy and learn from our events. The talks themselves were very cutting edge and concerned important and developing problems within the world of information security and quantum computation. It was a pleasure to have Dr. Locasto and Dr. Hoyer take time out of their busy schedules and speak to the undergraduates. Having two members of the department speaking to us about computer science definitely gave us a sense of direction. Finally, a thank you to our executive, Mike Clark, for conceiving and organizing this whole event. If you would ike to see some of the picutres from the event, you can view them by visiting the gallery links on the right of this page.
