How should the system deal with information that changes over time - like population? Should the system store a date to go with the population? Will it contain only the most recent data, or will it contain historical data, too?
Answer:
In order to keep the requirements for the system (and the assignment) simple, I'm going to ask you to ignore this complication: Please assume that only one population is entered for each country, and that no ``population date,'' etc. is stored. Treat other ``time dependent'' data the same way, unless I've explicitly asked you to do otherwise already in the original problem statement.
