This system is to be used by one ``account holder,'' in this person's home, (and not at a bank) in order to maintain his private records about his bank accounts. He might have several bank accounts, at several different banks.
From time to time, this person will receive account statements from banks, and he will want to compare his records with the bank's and, if necessary, make corrections to his own records in order to bring his records into line with the bank's.
