CPSC 333: How Does a User Know a Transaction Number?

Location: [CPSC 333] [Assignments] [More about Problem to Model for Question #1 on Assignment #2]

Question:

Will a user need to request an account listing in order to see which transaction numbers correspond to existing transactions for accounts, or is there another way for the user to know which transaction number to choose when registering a transaction that is already stored?

Answer:

For now, let's keep the interface, and the feedback that the system provides, simple. The system should be able to to generate the two reports that are mentioned on the problem statement (and, if it helps, you may assume that these can be printed out - but you don't need to show a printer as a terminator on a your context diagram, etc.)

When a user needs to supply a transaction number as part of an input, please assume that the user will type this in, possibly referring to a listing that he's printed out before this, in order to choose the number to enter.
