Research Activities
My thesis research topic is distributed machine learning. Multi-agent
systems are introduced in such distributed learning to enable cooperative
behaviours of the agents. As a result, the system benefit a lot from

interaction of two or more agents or forces so that their combined effect
is greater than the sum of their individual effects.
synergy effect:
more efficiency and better results. For more detail, check the Thesis
Research page.
In the courses I have taken, research is also an intergrated part. I
had various course projects, including data
mining, multi-agent systems (midterm, project),
and genetic programming.

Projects page
Teaching Activities
I have been teaching the labs of CPSC 203 — Introduction to Computers
for three semesters since I began my studies in the University of Calgary.
I received good assessment from the course instructor and the students.
The teaching resources for my labs can be found in the Teaching section
of this site.
