About Me: Jie Gao

I was born in China — one of the greatest countries in the world. My hometown, Wuhan, is a big city beside the Changjiang (Yangtse) River, which is the biggest river in China. It is splited by the Changjiang River and its branch, the Hanshui River into tree parts. People built many bridges crossing these rivers. Wuhan takes the pride to have the first bridge crossing the Changjiang River in China, and more such great bridges than any other city in China.

My four-year undergraduate studies was spent in Nankai University, located in Tianjin. The university’s spirit, knowledgeability and humility make it one of the best universities in China. My teachers, roommates and the students there gave me one of the most unforgetable periods in my life, when I could learn, try, and achieve so much! I also miss all friendly folks in Tianjin.
