yInk for Mac OS X
This is the home page for the yInk Mac OS X application. Basically it is a notepad for people with pen and tablet for jotting down ideas when the mood strikes them. yInk document files are typically very small since they store their images by using the vector graphics actions. Version 1.0 of the program is freeware and can be freely given to your friends. Please feel free to contact me if you have problems. My email address is also provided in the "About yInk" panel accessible via the application. Download the program by using the download link below. By the way, I pronounce the name as Yink, not Y-Ink. There's a corny joke that goes along with the name.

3/12/04: 1.5 incorporates some bug fixes and suggestions that Raleigh at Wacom mentioned. Thanks Raleigh!

2/16/04: Ackkkk!!! While doing some calligraphy practice with the production version of yInk I discovered that I'd forgotten to change the document type for the production release. Consequently, nothing could be saved in version 1.4. I would have thought someone would have stumbled across this problem before now. It is now fixed.

2/11/04: Implemented pressure sensitivity for yInk controlling the line width.

1/26/04: Added Undo and Redo.

1/26/04: Added proximity capabilities (i.e. now capable of sensing the end of the pen that is used) and moving the image.

1/25/04: Had a friend install yInk on her mac running 10.2.3. Some things didn't display as designed, some didn't work at all. In particular, for some reason, the color well didn't work. Have to investigate.

1/22/04: Prepared the web site. Waiting for friends' comments before posting the app. Waited long enough, it's there.
