Workshop Description

The Workshop, held for the sevenths year in conjunction with the International Conference on Computational Science and its Applications, is intended as an international forum  for researchers in all areas of computational geometry and related areas, with the goal of advancing the state of research in computational geometry and related disciplines.

Submissions of papers presenting a high-quality original research are invited to one of the two Workshop tracks: theoretical and applied computational geometry.
Optimization and performance issues in geometric algorithms implementation is also of interest. Biometric processing and computational geometry is a special theme for this year workshop.

Topics of interest:

Design and analysis of geometric algorithms

Animation of geometric algorithms

Computational methodology

Computational Geometry in biometric

Geographic information systems

Exact computations

Computational Geometry and Computer Vision

Geometric methods in computer graphics

Computational methods in bioinformatics

Geometric data structures for mesh generation

Space Partitioning

Data structures (including Voronoi Diagrams and Delaunay triangulations)

Geometric computations in parallel and distributed environments

Mesh generation
