I am a former student of the University of Calgary. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in June 2004, and defended my Master's thesis in August 2006. In January 2011, I successfully defended my PhD, under the supervision of Dr. Faramarz Samavati in the area of computer graphics.

My main research interests are:

  • Sketch-based interfaces and modeling
  • Subdivision and multiresolution surfaces
  • Gesture and sketch recognition
  • Data visualization
  • The intersection of computer vision and graphics
