I am a PhD student specializing in computer graphics under the supervision of Dr. Faramarz Samavati.
My Master's research focused on speeding up terrain line-of-sight queries using terrain simplification. In particular, I looked into using reverse subdivision as a regularity-preserving terrain simplification scheme and at relocating entities on the terrain after simplification to maximize accuracy. My current PhD research is targeted towards multiresolution representations for geospatial vector curves on the spherical Earth.
