Tyson Kendon

I am a PhD Candidate in the department of computer science student at the University of Calgary, with Professor Jörg Denzinger.

My research involves finding effective ways for people to harness agent based approaches to solve problems. These problems include both the personal and the organizational. These agent based solutions will hopefully improve both the happiness of the people working with them and also improve the effiency of the people and the organizations using them.

I also do work relating to libraries for distributed search, which allow knowledge based search systems to be effieceintly distributed to take advantage of multiple cores, processors or computers.

This semester I am running an extended tutorial on Unix and Computer Science Skills.

For information on other courses I have taught, you can look at my teaching page.
