CPSC 585: Games Programming - Assessment
The University policy on grading and related matters is described in the university calendar.
The course will not have a Registrar's scheduled final examination, the assessment will be based on milestones towards the development of a driving game and the final product, including a demonstration of the product to the instructor of record.
There are 4 milestones and the final product (as described in the syllabus handed out to every student on the first day of classes) and the student teams will get a grade for each of them. The following table describes the percentages with which the grades for these components will be weighted to compute the final grade of a student.
There is a 10% penalty per day for late delivery for each of these components.
If a student is not contributing sufficiently to the team effort, his grades will be lowered!
