Textbook Introduction to Algorithms, 2nd Edition by Cormen, Leiserson, Rivest, and Stein. ISBN 0-07-013151-1, McGraw-Hill, July 2001, $109.95.

There is also a webpage for the 1st Edition, including an older List of Errata for Edition 1.
Finally, there is an online learning centre containing useful material related to the text.
Quizzes Quizzes are held on Thursdays at 6:00 PM in ENA 201. The first quiz will take place on Jan 22.

There will be anywhere from 8 to 10 quizes in total. Make-up quizes will not be given under any circumstances, but your lowest quiz score will be dropped.

Grading Three components are included in the determination of the course grade.

Exam The Common Midterm Exam will take place Thursday, March 11, 18:00-20:00 PM, ENA 201. Make-up midterms will not be given under any circumstances. If you are unable to attend (and have a valid, documented excuse), you will receive a no-mark and your final exam will be worth 60% of your final grade.

The final exam will take place Monday, April 26, 12:00-15:00, ICT 102. Please note that no books or calculators will be permitted, but you may bring one 8.5 x 11 sheet of notes.
