Open 'Settings' and double click on 'Printers'
Click on 'Add'
Your system might need root privileges to install smbclient

The CS Research queue will let you print to all Ricoh printers in Computer Science. You must manually release the job at the printer using your OneCard.
To add the CS_Research queue, do the following:
Select 'Windows Printer via SAMBA'
Enter uc/itctsequitrac02.uc.ucalgary.ca/CS_Research
Select 'Prompt user if authenication is required' so that your username and password are not saved on the local computer.
The Staff follow-me print queue allows you to print to any staff printer on campus. You must manually release the job at the printer using your OneCard.
To add a Follow-Me print queue, do the following:
Select 'Windows Printer via SAMBA'
Enter uc/itctspcp01.uc.ucalgary.ca/Staff

A Student follow-me print queue allows you to print to any student printer on campus. You must manually release the job at the printer using your OneCard.
To add a direct queue to a printer, do the following:
Select 'Windows Printer via SAMBA'
Enter uc/itctspcp01.uc.ucalgary.ca/Student

Select 'Prompt user if authenication is required' so that your username and password are not saved on the local computer.
Select the appropriate PPD file and continue. The Ricoh PPDs can be found here.
Configure the printer description based on the print queue you are installing. Eg.
Your printer should now be able to print and you should be prompted for a username and password when printing. Enter your University IT username and password.
When printing from the command line, you may need to manually authenticate in order for the job to print.
To do this, open the printer queue.
Right click on the job and hit 'Authenticate'.
You will then be prompted for a username and password. Enter your University IT username and password to send the job.
