One of the initiatives the Department started this summer was transitioning their What the Tech? speaker series to a podcast series. This was a necessary step, given how difficult it is to do an in-person event presently.
The producers/hosts we have are really good at helping us unpack technical subject matter into a digestible format for our audience.
So far we’ve had about a dozen episodes, consisting of mostly faculty and a handful of students. We’re looking at expanding the range of the guests we bring on (If you have an idea for a future episode, let me know), and I’m really excited for the episodes which are coming up for September and October.
I was pleased to do an episode over the summer. It was a wide-ranging conversation which covered my history, a fair bit about my thesis work, and my plans for outreach this year. Go check it out.
