CPSC 333: Message Connections and Message Threads

Location: [CPSC 333] [Assignments] [Clarifications of Instructions for Question #2 on Assignment #2]

Question:

The third and fourth paragraphs of the question - and the references to ``message connections'' and ``message thread'' - are confusing. What is required, in order to answer this question?

Answer:

There was an error in the third paragraph of the question that wasn't corrected until quite late; the original reference to a ``message connection'' should have been a reference to a ``message thread.'' This has been corrected now.

A message connection is a component of a class diagram. A message thread is something you try to produce, in order to identify message connections that are required on a class diagram, and the services that classes and objects are required to provide.
