I am a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I currently hold an iCORE Chair in Broadband Wireless Networks, Protocols, Applications, and Performance.

My office is in ICT 736 of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) building at the University of Calgary. I am part of the Networks Research Group. Our research facilities include the Wireless Internet Performance Laboratory (WIPL) and the Experimental Laboratory for Internet Systems and Applications (ELISA), which are both located on the 7th floor of ICT.

I was General Co-Chair for WWW2007 in Banff in May 2007.

Here is a photo of us having fun at the WWW2007 banquet!

From 1991-2001, I was a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. If you are looking for earlier publications from my time there, you can try my out-of-date old home page.
