The Installation's View of the Street

The challenge: get people walking along busy Douglas Street in Victoria, BC, to veer from the sidewalk, walk up a few stairs, and view the window displays.

We installed LCD monitors in three separate pairs. Each pair had its own window with the monitors mounted one above the other on blacked-out MDF.

The images are not great, but that shows just how much the daylight interfered with the monitors.
